Ortog

The Ortog is one of the strange species native to Unzervalt. They are 2,000 pound creatures resembling a cross between a cow and a lizard, having six legs and pendulous udders. Their cell structure, internal organs, and flesh are very similar to that of Earth mammals. It is no surprise then that the beasts were identified by the databanks at the Precursor installation on Unzervalt as one of the possible animals that could be used for food. Much like cows on Earth, the colonists used the Ortog as a source of both meat and milk. They also were known to make clothing out of Ortog hide. The Captain himself was raised on Ortog milk and Libixx meat as a youth on Unzervalt.
