Chris Nelson is the creator of the Star Control Online computer game and founder of the The Ur-Quan Masters project.
Chris Nelson is a long time fan of Star Control. He originally created the Star Control-based computer game "Star Control Online". After that, he joined Toys for Bob as an intern in 2001, where he started preparing the source code of Star Control II for a release as Open Source. When his internship was over, the source code was published and the The Ur-Quan Masters project was started. The next year, he he was hired by Toys for Bob as a junior software engineer, where he still works today.
