It works by increasing the rate at which energy is fed into the batteries, allowing them to reach full capacity more quickly. Installing more than three dynamos has no effect.

[[Shiva_Furnace|Shiva Furnaces]] can also increase the rate of fire of The Flagship. However, while Combat Dynamos increase the rate at which energy is restored, Shiva Furnaces increase the amount of energy restored at each recharge.
