Main base of humans in Star Control: Origins. Orbits Earth in the Sol system. Its commanding officer is Commander Skyla.
Plot
The Captain starts the game at the Star Control base on September 20, 2088. An alien contacted the Earth from the outer fringes of Sol system, and he is recalled to the Star Control base to pilot the U.E.S. Vindicator and make the first contact.

Star Control base functions as quest-giver and starbase (trading post, ship outfit, fleet recruitment).
