Terran Cruiser

The Terran Cruiser is one of several ships a player can pilot in Fleet Battles.

In story mode it is deployed by the Humans.

Mechanics

It’s a little scary when the rest of the galaxy agrees that nuclear technology is primitive and outdated, but the Terran don’t seem to mind! The Terran Cruiser’s primary weapon is a nuclear missile that uses up a fair bit of energy. The missile has a decent range and arcs when fired, so aim carefully.

Point Defense, the cruiser’s secondary weapon, shoots a short-range targeting beam that automatically locks onto nearby ships or objects. This ship’s turn rate and acceleration are a little low, so extra care is needed about any surprise counter attacks as it closes in on its targets, since it won’t be easy for it to get away from their range quickly.
