Alpha Lalande is a blue dwarf star at coordinates 349.9 : 264.8 in the Lalande constellation. The star system consists of only two planets.
About ten years after the end of the Ur-Quan Slave War, an Androsynth Guardian discovered Inter-Dimensional Fatigue-related Precursor artifacts within this star system. It was this discovery that led to the Androsynth's research into this technology and, presumably, to the race's eventual and sudden disappearance.
