By the standards in [[Star Control II]], the profiles were horribly incomplete and biased, but they were proof of [[Human]] ingenuity.

The division was assembled in a secret security lab in Europe, outfitted with high-tech graphics and post-animation software. Each team was assigned a single Hierarchy species, using data gathered from ship debris.
