Robert Leyland is credited as a programmer for Star Control and for "Additional Writing" in Star Control II. He is also credited for working on the first Toejam & Earl, Toejam and Earl III: Mission to Earth, and Racing Aces.
According to the 1998 IRC chat with Toys for Bob, he wrote the conversation dialogue for the Supox.
